Some things you should know to make it all a little smoother
- You will need a provisional licence (apply as soon as you can because there can be a wait).
- By law now only pupils can book their tests.
- You can if you wish use your own car for the test.
- Private practice is encouraged.
- The DVSA suggests a minimum of 40 hours of lessons plus private practice (I do aim for slightly quicker) so allow time before your test.
- There is a long wait for tests so I would encourage you to get the theory passed before even starting lessons.
